Duxbury Youth Football

Duxbury football fields 6 teams, grades 3-8. Mighty Mites are grades 1-2.

By Grade: All players are rostered by their grade.

Pre season practice starts Aug 11th. The OCYFL regular season starts on Sunday Sept 10th, and runs until Nov 5th, with playoffs to follow

Practices are held at Train Field in front of DHS and behind the Percy Walker Pool

Home games are played at the DHS Field complex, primarily on the turf but occasionally on the grass field

Practices are held 2 to 3 times per week depending on the age level. Specific practice schedules are determined by the Head Coach

Games are played on Sunday mornings for the most part. Each team will have 8 regular season games, with playoffs to follow.

The 6th, 7th, and 8th Grade teams also have a Saturday team, that will play on Saturday mornings.

Duxbury Youth Football provides the following equipment:

Helmet, shoulder pads, game jersey, and football pants.

Parents are responsible for the following:

Practice jersey, mouth guard with a tether, chinstrap for the helmet, and cleats.

The practice jerseys are sold at the time of registration for a cost of $35.

Each family is required to volunteer for 4 shifts during the season. There are opportunities to be the announcer, concession helper, gate fee collector, chain gang and more. Volunteer opportunities will be posted on the Volunteer Page
